Tell me the truth ...

how exact is the speedometer

We did some speed tests with a SiRFstar III GPS unit. At 50 km/h it is real 48 km/h and at 100 km/h it is real 96 km/h. So we have an exact 4% too fast display of the real speed.
How fast is the Spidermax really? I measured today on a straight part of the highway with slight wind from the back and thanks to the on board computer the max speed is saved.
So 169 km/h should be just above 160 km/h real speed.
After another speed test today I noticed that the Spidermax limits the speed to169km/h. That is when the rpm limiter cuts in and the bike gets a bit unstable, at least on that part of our highway road and some light cross wind.
